Zeus, Poseidon and the Wrath / Love of Athena Zeus is the king of the gods on Olympus and human. Since he is the highest and powerful deity, he can mediate the conflicts of the gods. His action affects the fate of human beings. His most descendants are handsome, heroic, and powerful, in contrast with the descendants of Poseidon, as Zeus seems to be the absolute in the world. He sometimes helps Odyssey and allows Athena to help Odysseus to go back to his home. Nevertheless, he also respects Poseidon’s wrath to punish Odysseus and his people, which seems that it is more important for Zeus to preserve a good relationship with his brother Poseidon than he gives people, who are supplicating to go back to their home, a favor. Poseidon is the god of the sea. He sometimes seems to have inferiority complex against Zeus, brother of Poseidon. Poseidon wakes his wrath to disturb Odysseus going back to his home. This is because Odysseus makes the Cyclops Polyphemus, son of Poseidon, blind, and Poseidon was the patron of Troy which was defeated by Greek army in which Odysseus was a leader. With this strategy, Pepsi showed how an established brand can effectively utilize five critical aspects of social media marketing in gaining more customer insight: consumer engagement, user-generated content, data aggregation, geo-local, and inbound marketing (Horton, 2012). i. There are many reasons for this turn about like: the closure of about quarter of their plants, the reduction of its labor and health care costs, and the sale or retirement of underperforming brands. Along with all of the above, Ford has also been engaging in first-time conversations with its customers (Roman, 2011). Ford invested around one-quarter of its marketing dollars on digital and social media, which was double the amount spent by any of its competitors. Ford now has â€Å"social media agents†, who openly converse with their customers on forums, message boards, enthusiast sites that are not owned by Ford, as well as through official Ford Twitter and Facebook accounts. They use customized search engine tools to find and respond to customer queries, comments or concerns, including about new product arrival, warranties and repairs (Tellem, 2012). Social networking sites have allowed Ford to meet customers where it might not have been possible previously through traditional advertising, and allowing them to go where the customers go. For example, Ford created the Fiesta Movement using social media, before the all-new fiesta went on sale in North America, to create a buzz about the car and as a way to introduce it to the market. Many treat Whole Goods as a supplemental grocery store – where they pick up special items or pre-made meals. The company wants its staff to interact with each and every customer, and give them more of a reason to come and they will. Whole Foods also uses social media to promote its gift boxes as another way to reach its occasional customers (Eckhouse, 2011). * Encourages conversation – To use Twitter as a two-way communications tool, Whole Foods works diligently to get its followers to respond and interact. OLYMPUS The overall objective of this research paper is to identify and discuss â€Å"The Odyssey,† by Homer during his journey of Odysseus following the Fall of Troy. It was during this sojourn that Odysseus encounters various characters, and gods as previously indicated, which represent the essential source for this study including the primary source. It is true that the story is set within the context of the Trojan War, but it has been argued by scholars for a long time as to the factuality’s of the events in this story. Overall, it is a tale of adventure and homecoming after a long absence. It has even been debated whether or not the story took place during Greek times or pre-Greek times. Nevertheless, the story is alive with characters and adventures. I believe that more than anything, Homer’s â€Å"The Odyssey† is an exercise in the meaning of story telling through song and other aspects in â€Å"The Odyssey,† including lying and the lore, as I shall explain. Homer’s â€Å"The Odyssey,† is basically the story of the wanderings of Odysseus, but it is not in the form of a continuous narrative that this story is told. Clearly, â€Å"The Odyssey† incorporates materials that are older than the poem itself, and foremost among them in all likelihood was the tale of Odysseus’ wanderings immediately falling the Fall of Troy which is narrated by Odysseus at the banquet given in his honor by the Phaeaceans. This narration may well have constituted a separate poem or lie which was worked into a longer narrative by a later poet whom we know as Homer and his primary concern was not with the adventures of Odysseus but with his relationship with his wife and son.
